Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust
Thanks to funding from EON windfarm fund the Kyle of Sutherland Trust is able to offer small grants of up to £250 to individuals who live in the area covered by Ardgay and Creich Community Councils. The aim of this programme is to provide one off financial assistance or purchase essential equipment for beneficiaries who are in receipt of certain state benefits. Individuals can apply or application can be made on behalf of an individual by a health professional, teacher or equivalent. Scottish Hydro Achany Community Fund
Groups based in or operating in the community council areas of Ardgay & District and Creich can apply for grants from £2,000 to £10,000. The fund distributes awards twice a year. To confirm deadlines follow the link below to the SSE website.

EON Rosehall Community Fund
Groups based in or operating in the community council areas of Ardgay & Districtand Creich can apply for grants from £2,000 to £25,000. The fund distributes awards twice a year. Beinn Tharsuinn Windfarm Community Benefit Fund
Ardgay & District CC and Creich CC share in the Beinn Tharsuinn Windfarm Community Benefit Fund. Each community council have their own guidelines for applying and the fund offers grants of up to £2,000.
Groups local to the Kyle of Sutherland can apply to Creich and/or Ardgay & District community councils for funding.

ROCK - BY - SEA Creich Community Council Benefit Fund
A micro grant is available of up to £250 to residents of the Creich district to be used towards costs incurred when taking up new training or employment opportunities. Course fees, travel costs etc could all qualify as valid expenses for grant consideration, provided the opportunity for personal improvement or development is demonstrated in the application. Each award will be considered on its individual merit.
Another feature of the scheme is an Award for Excellence. This award is for any resident in the Creich area, who has shown a considerable talent, perhaps in the face of difficulties, and who has reached a high standard of acheivement in their own particular field, especially if a wider benefit to the community has also been demonstrated. Candidates for this award can be nominated by a member of the Communiy Council. Each case will be considered on its individual merit. A cap of £250 is the maximum amount available through the Award for Excellence.
